ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) will save data, when hackers can’t steal data from the ISP, they will target individual users and hack them for data. This is why many software providers invest in resources for email applications that filter these unwanted emails into spam folders.

Types of spam?
You will find on the one end of the spam spectrum, the most benign marketing spam from crafty sellers/marketers spamming us with get-rich quick schemes, and various medications that’re not approved yet.
Then on the other end of this spectrum, you have the dangerous emails. Threats from cyber-criminals trying to hack into your online accounts, getting access to your website data, spreading viruses and trying to steal your money.
We can all agree that marketing spam is annoying, but it is not a serious threat. The great thing about having a good ISP is that they will filter out most of these emails on the server side of things.
